My trip on the Norwegian Jade

Well something a bit off topic today, and I have thought about lifestyle blogging beforehand so I thought I would try it today.

So I thought I would share with you my recent cruise on the Norwegian Jade.

I have cruised twice beforehand, once with Holland America and once with Thompson… never again would I cruise with Holland America but that’s a different story… and I did make that quite clear to the staff members on board …. Eek haha !

So The Norwegian jade and my experience, well what can I say from the food to the service to the entertainment was just perfect!

The staff on the ship are extremely friendly and know how to do good service, from the shops to the dining rooms just amazing service overall.

And yes if you are going on a cruise… expect some extra pounds to be on around the waistline even if you try and narrow it down… it is virtually impossible as the food is too good to be missed…. And hey your on holiday so why worry about it haha… even though I do feel like a balloon right now …!

So the first day we was at sea… nice and relaxing … I did burn as I didn’t think the sun was strong enough… but I did end up looking like a cherry tomato with a Rudolph nose … and the after sun didn’t really do much… but I have now recovered from that and I am once again looking rather brown….

So the first stop was the Naples.

The next stop was Sicily, not mad on this place…. The people are friendly… but it looks like it needs a good clean… but once again the coffee the ice cream was amazing.

And then we stopped in Montenegro which was my favourite place! WOW …. Not much to do but such a peaceful and pretty place… surrounded by mountains it’s just stunning! You have to go!

as you can see very nice !

We then stopped in Zadar Croatia, its touristy and not what I expected from Croatia, it’s really clean and really friendly,

I love chocolate so i found this very amusing !

and then the last place was Venice which then we had to leave the cruise but we stayed a night in Venice… it’s so pretty… I took so many pictures everywhere in Venice is just pretty.

But one thing that did annoy me a bit with Venice is that there are so many people EVEYWHERE! I mean everywhere! From the little corner streets to the main streets it was just madness! But it’s a must visit specially the palace!

But if you want some peacefulness I would suggest Murano… really quite and they make the most stunning glass as you can see I decided to buy some… it can be expensive depending what you buy… just make sure if you are looking to buy Murano glass, you buy it from the Murano island as there are a lot of fakes about.

And we also bought some art on the cruise… this is just one of four pieces we bought.

And yes its real linda le kempf !

I hope you enjoyed reading this… and if you are sailing on the Norwegian jade and want some advice please don’t hesitate to contact me.
